Summary

Agricultural Input Price Index has decreased by 4.4 % between June 2008 and June 2009. The prices for Fertilisers and soil improvers have decreased by 38.0 per cent and were thereby the prices with the greatest decrease. For Energi and lubricants there also were a decrease in prices during the period. They decreased by 10.8 % while Plant protection products and pesticides increased by 10.2 %.

Output Price Index has decreased by 10.6 % between June 2008 and June 2009. Cereals has decreased by 25.1 % and the prices on Milk by 16.0 % since June last year. The Index for crop output has decreased by 12.0 % and index for animal output has decreased by 9.6 % between June 2008 and June 2009.

"Price Index for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products" (PPI-J) decreased by 2.0 % between June 2008 and June 2009. Flour, grain and crispbread decreased by 4.0 %, Poultry meat by 14.5 % while Cured and canned meat increased by 2.5 % during the period.

 

"Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products" (KPI-J) has increased by 1.6 % between June 2008 and June 2009. The prices for Sugar have increased by 5.0 %, Other meat 9.2 % and Cured and canned meat by 4.1 %. These three products accounts for the greatest increases. In the same period, Consumer Price Index decreased by 0.6 %.
