Summary

Input Price Index has increased with 4,2 % between July 2003 and July 2004. All cost items in the Input Price Index have increased during the period. Animal feedingstuffs is the single cost item with the highest increase (6,9 %) during the period.

Output Price Index has decreased with 1,4 % between July 2003 and July 2004. Milk, fruit and vegetables are those products that have decreased most during the period. Cereals and potatoes have increased during the period. Index for crop output has incerased with 1,3 % and index for animal output has decreased with 3,0 %.

Price index for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products (PPI-J) has decreased with 1,0 % and Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products (KPI-J), has decreased with 0,3 % between July 2003 and July 2004. The development of KPI-J is 1,0 % lower than the general development of consumer prices, calculated with CPI (Consumer Price Index).
