The Plant Protection Service is responsible for preventive work against spread of quarantine and regulated pests. This involves import and export controls of plants, plant products and growing media. It also includes production control and checks on the Swedish market, as well as trade with other EU countries. The Plant Protection Service is also responsible for surveys for certain pests in the Swedish territory. The central administration is located in Jönköping. The inspection work is carried out by our local offices.
