You have to notify planned imports to the border inspection veterinarian at the place of entry at least one working day in advance of the estimated day of arrival.
If you bring animals via another EU country than Sweden, the notification is done to the border inspection post in the country where the animals first arrive in the EU.
If you ship products to Sweden by air or by sea you notify the relevant border inspection post in Sweden.

In case of other modes of transport you notify the border inspection post in the EU country where the product is loaded onto vehicles that travel on roads, railways or inland waterways.
