Management consists of the Director General, the Deputy Director General, the Chief Veterinary Officer, the Planning Director and the Chief Economist.
 
Management, together with the nine Heads of Department, as well as the Heads of the Personnel and the Legal Service Division (the latter also being chief lawyer), make up the Management Group. This Management Group deals with matters of particular importance and is a forum for information exchange.
 
In addition, Management has established two co-ordinating bodies.

The Strategic Analysis Group co-ordinates economic studies and analyses. Its task is mainly to identify interesting issues for study, and to scrutinize the quality of draft study reports.

The Administrative Development Group is a preparatory body for matters relating to overall issues concerning administrative development. Its main task is to ensure that the Board´s information technology strategy is complied with, and to follow up development projects.
