Farm Enterprise and Rural Development Division

Responsible for enterprise and project support within the Rural Development Programme, and handles national project support. Also tasked with implementing Leader in all of Sweden, with reinforcing rural competitiveness, and with special measures for food and equine enterprises.  
 

Environmental and Regional Aid Division

Responsible for the Board´s work on environmental support, LFA support, non-productive investments, and certain measures aimed at agriculture in northern Sweden. Also handles environmental support for endangered livestock breeds. 
 

National Measures Division

Handles compensation for combating contagious livestock diseases and also handles matters related to land purchase, property and hunting in northern Sweden, food industry support, and support to sugar producers for diversification and transition. 
 

Coordination Division


Head: Andreas Mattisson

Coordinates cases, evaluations and follow-ups within the Rural Development Programme. Other tasks include regional development policies and analyses of rural issues. The Division has a secretariat for the monitoring committee of the Rural Development Programme, as well as for the national rural development network.
